Our Third Time Setting Modules Up
The Capitol Free-mo Modelers setup our modules at the Great Scale Model Train Show in the Cow Palace at the Maryland State Fair Grounds in Timonium on February 5-6, 2011.
The modules included the "U S Pipe" steel mill by Jim and Jimmy Musser, along with their new Cement Plant module and new Bascule bridge and junction module; Dave Beckstein's curved module (still our only curved one); a three-module set, with a seven-foot passing siding by Larry Case; Dan Picciotto's "Baltimore Boston Street and car float module; and a straight module being built by Clarence Guenther. Before the weekend was over, we had added another straight module by Mike Looney. We more than doubled our "mainline" run again - over eight-tenths of an "HO" scale mile - over 49 feet end to end, plus there were an eleven-foot branch into the steel mill and a seven-foot one into the cement plant.

The Capitol Free-mo Modelers setup our modules at the Great Scale Model Train Show in the Cow Palace at the Timonium Fair Grounds on October 30-31, 2010.
The modules included the steel mill by Jim and Jimmy Musser; a brand new (and our first curved) module by Dave Beckstein; Dan Picciotto's abuilding Baltimore Boston Street and car ferry module; and a straight module by Matt Picciotto. We doubled our "mainline" run to almost four-tenths of a mile - a whopping 23 feet end to end..

The Capitol Free-mo Modelers first setup of modules happened on September 25, 2010. The owner of Peach Creek Shops, in Laurel, MD, invited us to setup in front of his store. Thanks go to John Glaab for the opportunity.
